Challenge

Our client, a Belgian healthcare company, aimed to scale its business through acquisitions. They needed to find suitable targets that met several important conditions, including specific operational performance thresholds, presence within the European market, and a business model focused on home-care medical services. The Research & Analytics Hub team undertook the task of identifying companies that fit these requirements and could support the client’s long-term expansion plans.

Solution

We carried out a comprehensive screening of the medical services market across twelve European countries. After evaluating more than 120 companies that met the baseline criteria, we performed detailed financial analyses and operational assessments for each of them. From this group, we identified thirty-eight companies with the strongest acquisition potential and prepared individual profiles containing financial projections, synergy assessments, and risk evaluations. The final report included a prioritized ranking of targets, a negotiation strategy, and a forecast of potential post-acquisition outcomes. As a result, the client received a clear and structured roadmap for making an informed investment decision.
